Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Valréas 13,5% vol

Terroir and Grape Varieties : Prominent Syrah of 40 years on a deep argileous ground, mixed with Grenache of 50 years on a dry rocky land.

Vinification: Hand-picked and selective harvest of this area. Wine processing with mixing the grape varieties to give an excellent blending. Syrah grapes are picked at maturity, partly destemmed. Fine and supple maceration, controled temperatures.

Tasting: Deep garnet-red robe with black tints. Superb complexity of the bouquet. Wild and strong aromas without holding the notes of almost cristallised black fruits. Wild and powerful attack: rounded, smooth and long on the palate, enrobing it with the flavours and tannins of this complex, warm and noble wine. Perfect osmosis of Grenache and Syrah varieties, blended from the beginning of the vinification; picked from the vines, the fermentation and the raising, the hard and rigourous work from the vigneron give a “savoir faire” and richness to our land.

The winemaker’s advice: This wine will accompany your cepes dishes, truffle omelette, rib of beef, ducks with prune.
